La Terraza & Leo’s Mexican Food
Back in 1946, there were only three Mexican food restaurants in El Paso. That was when Willie Terrazas and Leo Collins said, “What El Paso needs is another Mexican food restaurant,” and so they opened one. It was then that the brothers-in-law established their first Leo’s Mexican Food Restaurant. Over 64 years ago, Leo’s first introduced the baked cheese enchiladas and the now famous sopaipillas served with honey as well as other combination plates that originated with Leo’s. It has since grown to six restaurants, including La Terraza Restaurant. With six locations (five under the Leo’s name and one called La Terraza), you can taste the tradition all over El Paso. Full bar at all locations except 5103 Montana, which serves beer and wine.
