El Paso Rhinos Hockey

Since 2006, El Paso’s Junior Hockey developmental league team has taken 16–20 year old boys and turned them into hockey playing men. Many of the Rhinos have gone on to successful college and pro careers. In the 2013–14 season, the team was again the champs of the Western States Hockey League as well as national champions. Home games are played October through March in front of raucous crowds, averaging a couple thousand fans, at the Sierra Providence Events Center adjacent to the El Paso County Coliseum in central El Paso.
